Frequently Asked Questions

PCA members receive lower prices because we negotiate the prices as a group. Our combined volume of vaccine purchases along with our combined loyalty to the manufacturers’ vaccines allow PCA to obtain lower prices.

There is no minimum order required. All PCA members qualify for our low, on-invoice prices regardless of the size of individual orders or individual clinic purchasing volume.

You can fill out our request form or contact us directly. There is no cost to join and there are no recurring fees.

As a new member you’ll sign a participation agreement and submit a registration form so the manufacturer can link your account to PCA’s prices. Sanofi Pasteur typically takes 2-4 business days; however, Merck and Pfizer take 2-4 weeks to link your account to PCA’s pricing before you can order at the discounted rate. PCA lets you know as soon as your account is linked so you can start ordering.

The participation agreement explains how the program works and gives information that we are legally required to provide. It also gives us permission to ask the manufacturer to link your account to PCA's prices.

You can unlink your account from PCA at any time by emailing or faxing us a request to do so. It usually takes the manufacturers 48 hours to unlink an account from our prices.

For Sanofi Pasteur, Merck and Pfizer vaccines, PCA members order directly through the manufacturer. PCA members may also order Merck vaccines through Sanofi’s website www.vaccineshoppe.com. Orders for Sanofi Pasteur, Merck and Pfizer vaccines placed through distributors do not qualify. The manufacturers handle all billing, payment and fulfillment of your vaccine order.

Order on Vaccineshoppe.com®, MerckVaccines.com, Pfizerprime.com, or by calling the manufacturer.

PCA currently offers vaccine purchasing programs through Sanofi Pasteur, Merck, and Pfizer. You can choose to participate in any or all of these depending on your needs.

Currently, PCA offers programs with Sanofi Pasteur, Merck, and Pfizer. These manufacturers offer all the recommended vaccines necessary for routine childhood, adolescent and adult vaccinations. Please contact us if you have questions or to discuss your current vaccine schedule.

You can contact us directly. Once we receive your request, we will discuss your current vaccine schedule with you and send you information. Pricing information is required by the manufacturers to be kept confidential.

PCA members always receive our low prices and also qualify for other promotional discounts that are offered periodically by the manufacturers. In addition, PCA members qualify for prompt-pay discounts offered by the manufacturers. PCA members participating on the Sanofi Pasteur program also qualify for the online ordering discount and may qualify for additional VaxMax discounts.

Both Sanofi Pasteur and Merck currently offer free shipping on orders over a minimum amount (currently $600), whether a clinic is a PCA member or not. On www.VaccineShoppe.com, you can order both medical supplies and vaccines to reach the minimum amount.

Besides our low on-invoice prices, PCA offers additional savings to its members in the form of rebates. This further lowers your overall vaccine cost.

Our operational funding comes from administrative fees that we receive from the manufacturers. By keeping our overhead low, we can return the majority of this to our members in the form of rebates. Rebates are paid quarterly or annually (depending on the manufacturer) and are calculated based on vaccine purchases and loyalty of our membership throughout the year.

The first step is to make sure you are getting the best possible prices. Joining PCA makes that easy (and it's free!). In addition, our staff have all worked in medical clinics and understand coding, purchasing and other issues. We'll be happy to answer your questions.
